MinebeaMitsumi's linear regulators (LDOs) features products that take advantage of the strengths of both CMOS and bipolar processes : they support output currents from 100 mA to 1.5 A and offer additional functions such as soft start, reverse current protection and auto discharge, as well as output current detection, temperature sensor output and other special functions are available. MinebeaMitsumi MM1839 is a 200mA LDO with a reverse bias protection function. This IC is used in standard home equipments, for a maximum operating voltage of 14V. In addition, a protection diode is not necessary because a reverse bias protection function is built in it.
